Tell me how to get there

You can travel to the event by car, coach, train or shuttle bus.

Car

Those planning to drive, should can take the M25, M11 and then A414 to Chelmsford. Make sure to follow the signs to the festival when getting close to Hylands Park, instead of relying on the Sat Nav. If you travel in on Friday, parking in the car park is £20.

It reduces to £10 if arriving on Saturday or Sunday. You can prepay with your official ticket agent or pay at the site with correct cash. Learn more about other parking options here .

The event planners warn not to park on surrounding roads if you want to find your car still there at the end of the festivities.

Coach

It is not too late to buy a coach ticket through Big Green Coach, a service with 25 pick up locations that will drop you inside the gates. Tickets start at £35. Get tickets here.

Train/shuttle

If you travel to the party by rail, jump off at Chelmsford Rail Station. First Buses will offer a £5 return shuttle service to the venue. More here.

How’s the weather?

Event goers are in luck! The weekend should be mostly sunny with a high of 20C on Saturday and 21C on Sunday. The little chance of rain, 0 per cent on Saturday and 10 per cent on Sunday, is especially good news for those camping. Full break down on The Weather Channel here.

The fine print

Event planners say camo is the main fashion trend at the festival this year. So head out and stock up on the print if you want to look in the know. They suggest a camo fleece for the chilly evenings, like the one Ella Eyre rocked here.

Anyone 16 and older can attend the festival without a parent, but make sure you leave the little ones at home as all event goers must be five years and older. Anyone ages five to 15 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

To make sure you capture your favourite artist on Snapchat, Music Angel is offering unlimited mobile charging through their Social Power battery for £20 when you preorder. You can still sign up for the service at the festival but you will pay an extra £5.
